Geocaching in Tucson : parked bird
Thing about geocaching is you find nature in unexpected places like semi-forested washes and birds nesting under parking covers.
When I Iooked up, she was staring at me like she was wondering what I was Iooking for. She wasn’t scared so I guess she’d seen a geocacher or two already.
I am not giving the GC this time because this pic is too much of a giveaway although from the log, it looks like they might have moved the cache further away from her. Funny thing is that a previous cacher logged “some baby’s hatching soon…” so I spent time searching in the nearby trees for a cache first. It didn’t occur to me to look for a nest in the parking structure. You just never know.

HA! She is giving you “the look” though!
I agree, like I just woke her up from a nap and she’d really like me to go away
She does have a thoughtful look in her eye….
I agree. Maybe she’s thinking, “those humans are nuts”
